A "One In A Million" Production Slated At Enfield High School
The Enfield Lamplighters will stage three performances of "One In a Million" this weekend at Enfield High School.

ENFIELD, CT — The Enfield Lamplighters will present "One in a Million" by Craig Sodaro on Friday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 19 at 2 and 7 p.m. Performances will take place at Enfield High School. Tickets are $10, or $5 for students and seniors, and will be available at the door.
Ever dream of winning it big? For Sunny (Harper Minalga), a foster child at the Bloomfield’s house, her dreams usually don’t involve $2.8 million. But when she and her friends (Lyeon Eldredge, Grace Herman, Tyler Kickham, Keara Marinak, Alabama Mattoon, Caroline Poltronieri, Sandhya Sowrirajan, Leilany Ventura) find a winning lottery ticket on the floor of the local Quick Mart, her world is quickly turned upside down, spinning the entire Bloomfield house into hysterical chaos.
At their best, oddball patriarch Oliver (Ethan Sirard) is a crazy inventor whose newest invention is an uncooperative robot named HAL (Emily Grenier); his librarian wife, Carrie (Haleigh Ketchale) is disorganized and scatterbrained; and Grandma (Grace Kesilewski) can’t find her teeth.

Things heat up when a grim state employee (Kayla Bouchard) arrives to try to take Sunny and her sister Ginny (Kaitlyn Kamay) away from the Bloomfields. To make matters worse, the very rich Louella Pierpont (Kallianna Zaugg) barges into the house with her spoiled son Leonard (Aiden Koczera), claiming the lottery ticket Sunny picked up is actually theirs. And the security camera proves it.
When she hires two thugs (Abby Kickham, Abigail Terhune) to get possession of the ticket, it really takes some fancy footwork by the local law (Cole Marrella, Max Mattoon) and district judge (Lucas Aiello) to clear up the confusion and with millions on the line, the stakes are sky high. With loads of colorful TV personalities and reporters (Jaylen Alcime, Samantha Allan, Guadalupe Cadena, Chelsea Campbell, Kacey Sullivan, Isabella Cooley, Audrey Densmore, Serenity Gomez, Bridget Kelly, Sadie Minalga, Bee Weston) and a sweet, surprise ending, this play is certainly One in a Million.
