Picture Enfield - Then And Now
An old photograph and story from Enfield's past and how that site appears today.

ENFIELD, CT — Today's edition of our periodic Enfield history series, featuring old photos of local businesses and landmarks and what that site looks like today, takes us back more than four decades, to the early 1980s.
A former Texaco station on the corner of Simon and Post Office roads was purchased by sporting goods store owner Thomas Puleri, who planned to convert the site into a gym. A lengthy battle between Puleri and town officials over approved renovation plans led to a lawsuit, and he eventually sold the property in 1982.
For many years, the site has been home to Bosco's Automotive, as seen in this picture snapped, well ...today.
