ENFIELD, CT — After a 1-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 13th Puppy Pride Fun Day benefit for the Enfield Dog Park returns Saturday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. behind the Enfield Moose Club on South Road.

Running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Puppy Pride is a free, family-friendly event for young and old alike. It features a variety of canine contests, with categories including hot dog eating, a costume contest and the ever-popular Best Kisser. Contests, which all have minimal entry fees, begin at 11 a.m.

A demonstration by the Enfield Police Department canine unit is always a popular attraction, and a kids' coloring contest has been added to the fun this year.
