Putting Kids, Classrooms, and Community First: Why Enfield Needs Rosalee Brocuglio on the Board of Education
An Educator for Enfield's Future

As someone who has had the privilege of knowing Rosalee “Roey” Brocuglio as a friend, neighbor, and colleague, I want to share why her voice and experience matter so deeply to our community.
Rosalee grew up right here in Enfield — attending Prudence Crandall, JFK, and Fermi High — and she carries that sense of pride and purpose into everything she does. She’s not just passionate about education; she’s lived it. From her years in the classroom to earning a master’s in Education Policy and Management from Harvard, Rosalee has dedicated her career to making schools places where every child feels safe, supported, and capable of success.
What stands out most about Rosalee is her ability to listen, to lead with empathy, and to bring people together. I’ve seen her approach challenges with both a teacher’s heart and a policymaker’s mind — always keeping students at the center of the conversation. She’s thoughtful, grounded, and unafraid to ask the tough questions that lead to real solutions.

Enfield deserves leaders who understand the classroom as well as the community, and who believe that decisions about our schools should be guided by collaboration, not politics. That’s exactly who Rosalee is. She’s the kind of person who shows up — for her students, her colleagues, and her town — and works tirelessly to make things better.
I’m proud to call her my friend, and even prouder to see her step forward to serve the community that raised her.
