Repair Work On Route 190 Bridge Over I-91 In Enfield To Create Detour
Work will be performed during overnight hours for the next several months, according to the CT DOT.

ENFIELD, CT — Emergency repair work is needed on the Route 190 bridge, which carries traffic over Interstate 91, which will result in intermittent closures of the eastbound on-ramp to the northbound entrance to the highway for the next few weeks, followed by full closure for a month or two.
Work will be performed during overnight hours, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
During the closure, eastbound traffic on 190 will be re-routed south on Phoenix Ave., east on Rosario T. Vella Ave., and north on Freshwater Blvd. (around Brookside Plaza). Traffic may then re-enter 190 westbound to access I-91 northbound.
