Segment Of Moody Road In Enfield Closed Due To Crash: PD [UPDATED]
The crash involving a vehicle and utility pole occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday.

ENFIELD, CT — A portion of Moody Road was closed between Somers Road and the Somers town line due to a motor vehicle crash Wednesday night, according to police.
The crash, involving a vehicle and a utility pole which included the downing of wires, was reported at 9:49 p.m. pole with wires down. Eversource Energy ws on scene overnight assessing the damage, police said.
Police advised motorists to seek an alternate route.

UPDATE: As of 10 a.m., one lane of the roadway was re-opened. Flaggers were directing traffic, alternating eastbound from Enfield and westbound from Somers.
