Snow Accumulation Estimates Released For Next Storm In Northern CT
If you love snow, then you've been loving the weather of late.
NORTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service said we're expecting to receive 1 and 3 more inches of snow from our next weather system on Wednesday night.
Snow is forecast to begin after 5 p.m. Wednesday and it could produce up to three more inches of snow and the precipitation may end as plain rain on Thursday. More snow is expected on Saturday too.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 11. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Tuesday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 33. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the morning.

Tuesday Night: A slight chance of snow between 1am and 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Wednesday: A slight chance of snow after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. Northeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Wednesday Night: Snow before 4am, then snow and sleet. Patchy fog after 9pm. Low around 25. East wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Thursday: Freezing rain and sleet before 10am, then rain likely. Patchy fog between 9am and noon. Patchy freezing fog before 9am. High near 40. East wind 5 to 7 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 30. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday: A chance of snow after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Saturday Night: Rain and snow. Low around 29. Southeast wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Sunday: Rain and snow. High near 40. North wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Sunday Night: Snow likely, possibly mixed with rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15. Northwest wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
