Central Connecticut State University, New Britain CT

  • A number of students from Enfield were named to the spring 2024 Dean’s List at Central Connecticut State University. They were Brooke Audet, Anthony Barnes, Konnor Busiere, Meghan Cooney, Madison Daigneau, Eslam Elgazar, Amber Foy, Alex Herron, Paige Kaiser, Jacob Kalnenieks, Nathan Kennerson, Christina Lambert, Annamarie Lastrina, Anthony Mangiarelli, Justin Melendez, Patti Penney, Erin Perez, Zoe Prevost, Shah Qureshi, Lindsay Rooney, Dylan Shermer, Ryan Shermer, Bryce Wille and Jeremy Young.

  • The College of Our Lady of the Elms congratulates more than 400 students who received their degrees during its 93rd commencement on May 18, 2024 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Graduates from Enfield were Amanda Coderre, Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; Shameeka Higgs, Bachelor of Science degree in social work; and Adam Rochette, Bachelor's degrees in sociology and social work.
  • The College of Our Lady of the Elms has named the following students from Enfield to the dean's list for the spring 2024 semester: Michael Dibattisto, Maxamillion Fredrickson, Cassidy Langevin, Lindsey Nguyen and Adam Rochette.

Merrimack College, North Andover MA

  • Fallon Barone of Enfield was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Barone is enrolled in the School of Nursingand Health Services.

Nichols College, Dudley MA

  • Hailie Marcioch of Enfield has achieved Dean's List honors for the spring 2024 semester at Nichols College. In order to be included on the Dean's List, a student must have a minimum average of 3.5 for at least 12 undergraduate credit-hours and must have received no grades below B- during the semester.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

  • Owen Racette of Enfield graduated in May from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS in software engineering. Nearly 4,500 degrees were conferred in the 2023-2024 academic year at all of RIT's campuses.
  • Five students from Enfield were named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. They were Luke Barnes, applied statistics and data analytics program; Jackie Barrow, electrical engineering program; William Goyette, environmental science program; Sam Chen, mechanical engineering program; and Owen Racette, software engineering program. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

  • The University of Rhode Island celebrated more than 4,100 of its newest alumni during the university's 2024 commencement. Nearly 4,000 undergraduate degrees and 800 graduate degrees were conveyed to students during the ceremonies, which took place May 17-19, 2024.
    Among them were Enfield residents Max Dumont, Morgan Ouellette, Matthew Santy and Carter Wunch.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

  • Tyler Catania of Enfield, a cybersecurity major, was named to the Dean’s List at Western Connecticut State University for the spring 2024 semester. Dean’s List recognition is awarded each semester to full-time matriculated students with satisfactory completion of a minimum of 12 graded semester hour credits and a 3.5 semester average.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

  • Alyzza Alicea of Enfield, a psychology major, joined the esteemed Psi Chi National Honor Society on April 12, at the Western New England University chapter's annual induction ceremony. Psi Chi is the national honor society for psychology and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association. The purpose of the honor society is to advance the science of psychology and to encourage, stimulate, and maintain scholarship. Chapter membership is open to Western New England University students majoring or minoring in psychology. Students must have completed nine credit hours of psychology courses; have a cumulative GPA in the top 35 percent of their academic class or the college that houses psychology; and have a minimum 3.0 GPA average for psychology courses.
