'Superhuman' Enfield Mom 'Is The Most Selfless Person I Know'

ENFIELD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?

She is the most selfless person I know. My mom is always putting everyone else first (including her 10 grandkids!) Whenever/wherever she is needed, she finds a way to be there and always shows up with a smile on her face. Although I’m a grown adult now, I still call her with the any inconvenience I face or any question I have, as her input is extremely valuable to me ... and she answers, listens/helps me, every. single. time.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She is truly so special/ is superhuman. Now that I have two kids of my own, I now understand things from her perspective. Being a mom is a rollercoaster of emotions and growing up I was not the nicest/easiest child, lol! However, it has always been important to me- to remind my mom just how appreciated she is any chance I get- since tomorrow isn’t promised.
