Support for my mom, Bobbie Kiner

When I used to run for public office, my parents always wrote a letter to the editor in support of me. So, it feels really special that I get to return the favor this time.

You might be thinking, of course he’s supporting his mom, and you’d be right. But I also want to tell you why you should, too.

My mom, Bobbie Kiner, is a retired public school teacher who spent her career helping students succeed and making them believe in themselves. She’s the mother of two public school teachers (and me!) and sent all three of us through the Enfield Public School System. For as long as I can remember, she’s been volunteering and giving back to this community in countless ways.

She has the kind of experience, patience, and heart that make her exactly the kind of person Enfield needs on the Board of Education. She understands what it means to care for kids, support teachers, staff and strengthen our schools, because she’s lived it her whole life.

So yes, I’m proudly supporting my mom. And I hope you will too.
