Truck Hits Tree In Enfield, Pair Taken To Hospital
A street in Enfield was closed for a portion of Wednesday night after a truck hit a tree, police said.

ENFIELD, CT — Two people were sent to an area hospital late Wednesday night after a pickup truck hit a tree in Enfield.
The crash took place at 10:22 p.m. on Oliver Road, police said.
At least one of the two occupants had to be extricated from the truck, police said. A woman suffered what appeared to be two broken ankles and a man was taken by ambulance for evaluation, police said.

Oliver Road was closed until 11:45 p.m., police said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
