Why I’m Sticking with Row A this Election

As a parent, educator, community member, and registered Republican - I’m choosing to stick with Row A for this Election. I believe every student, no matter their race, background, or ability, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. I want our schools to be places where every child feels supported, valued, challenged, and inspired to do their best. That’s why I’m supporting Amanda Pickett and Row A for the Enfield Board of Education.

Amanda understands that strong schools are at the heart of a strong community. She’s not just passionate about education, she’s committed to the success of every student and to building positive partnerships between families, educators, and the district. On a daily basis Amanda listens to parents’ concerns, values teachers’ expertise, celebrates successes, and keeps students at the center of every conversation.

What stands out most about Amanda is her balanced, common-sense approach. She knows that strong decision-making takes both compassion and accountability. She’s thoughtful about how to utilize resources and dedicated to ensuring that Enfield’s schools remain safe, inclusive, and high-achieving places for all students.

Amanda also believes that communication and collaboration are key. She wants families to feel informed and involved, and she understands that when parents, educators, and the Board collaborate, kids benefit most.

In a time when public education faces real challenges, Amanda and Row A offer steady leadership, a strong background and experience in education, practical ideas, and a genuine commitment to our community’s future. They’ve already shown how dedicated they are to the community and are running because they believe in our students and in Enfield, and so do I.
