ENFIELD, CT — Last week's Patch story about the opening of a ninth Dunkin' location in Enfield (that's right, nine!) contained a trivia question: "What business is currently located at the site of the first Dunkin' Donuts in Enfield?"

We did not include the address of the original location, but apparently enough people know how to Google "first Dunkin' site in Enfield" or remembered we had written a flashback column some time ago, that more than 70 people emailed in the correct response.

The first Dunkin' Donuts in town was located at 651 Enfield Street. It was built in 1966, according to town land records, and Dunkin' operated there until moving to a newly-constructed site just down the road at 562 Enfield Street, next to the Tanguay-Magill American Legion Post 80, in 1996.

A Carvel Ice Cream store moved into 651 Enfield in 1998. Other businesses since then have included Teasers Styling Salon, Total Protection Security Systems and Towne House Beauty Salon. The current occupant, and correct answer to the question, is Marza Salon & Spa.

The names of all persons submitting correct answers were submitted into a drawing, with Sue Cavanaugh being the winner of a 9-hole round of golf for two at Grassmere Country Club.
