The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for northern Connecticut. Here are the new details.
HARTFORD/TOLLAND/WINDHAM COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for late Monday night through late Tuesday night.
"Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph," the weather service said in a Sunday update. "...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute."

Monday Night: Snow likely, mainly after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Tuesday: Snow, mainly before 3pm. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 35. Breezy, with a northeast wind 13 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.
Tuesday Night: A slight chance of snow before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 21. Northwest wind 13 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
