CHESTER/DEEP RIVER/ESSEX — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Chester, Deep River and Essex, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Region District 4.
The first day of school for most students in Chester, Deep River and Essex is Aug. 30, according to the 2023-24 district school calendar.
