Blessing of the Animals at Deep River Congregational Church

The annual Blessing of the Animals will be held at Deep River Congregational Church, Saturday, Oct. 4 at 10:00 a.m.

The Blessing of the Animals at Deep River Congregational Church will take place Saturday, Oct. 4 at 10:00am in front of the Church sanctuary.

Bring your animal companion to the front steps of the church to receive an individual blessing from our minister. We ask that dogs be leashed.

This annual event celebrates God’s love for “All Creatures Great and Small” in honor of the birthday of St. Francis of Assisi (the patron saint of animals).
