1. Giving travelers more options at a lower price, Breeze Airways continues to expand its flights to and from Bradley International Airport. According to a recent press release, the new routes will launch in May, with the nonstops now on sale at introductory fares. The new flights reportedly include; nonstop service to Fort Myers, New Orleans and Tampa, as well as one-stop/no plane change ‘BreezeThru’ flights to Los Angeles. 2. Spectrum Art Gallery in Centerbrook has a lot going on. The Exhibit: The Power and Strength will be going on display at the end of March. Discover new and exciting works by established and emerging artists who create abstract and representational painting, mixed media, photography and more. The Opening Reception will be held on Friday, March 24, from 6:30 -9 p.m. and the Open House Weekend will be held Saturday, March 25, from 1-6 p.m. and Sunday, March 26 from 1-5 p.m.. 3. Want to add a furry friend to your family and give back to the world at the same time? Adopt a dog, cat or other animal from a local shelter! Local shelters in the Essex-Chester-Deep River area have dogs, cats and other pets ready and waiting to be adopted.
