1. The Deep River Park and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt has been moved to April 2, due to weather concerns. Deep River children, pre-k through 6th grade are invited. Come to Devitt Field. There will be a special guest appearance by the Easter Bunny at 10:45 a.m. and then the hunt will follow promptly at 11 a.m. Plan to stick around for photos with the Easter Bunny and games. 2. If you are a students wanting to learn more about Middlesex Community College as a post high school option, you are invited to attend an open house at the school, which will be held on Tuesday, April 4 by the Pavilion in Founders Hall between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Learn about academic and workforce programs, financial aid, debt-free community college through PACT, admissions, and student services. Take a tour of the campus, located at 100 Training Hill Road in Middletown. Faculty, staff, and students will be on hand to answer questions and assist with the application process. 3. Deep River Earth Day is planned for April 22. Source to Sea clean up will begin at 9 a.m.at Deep River Landing register at deepriverct.us/deep-river-sustainable-ct-committee.
