- The Deep River Park and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt has been moved to April 2, due to weather concerns. Deep River children, pre-k through 6th grade are invited. Come to Devitt Field. There will be a special guest appearance by the Easter Bunny at 10:45 a.m. and then the hunt will follow promptly at 11 a.m. Plan to stick around for photos with the Easter Bunny and games. - If you are a students wanting to learn more about Middlesex Community College as a post high school option, you are invited to attend an open house at the school, which will be held on Tuesday, April 4 by the Pavilion in Founders Hall between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Learn about academic and workforce programs, financial aid, debt-free community college through PACT, admissions, and student services. Take a tour of the campus, located at 100 Training Hill Road in Middletown. Faculty, staff, and students will be on hand to answer questions and assist with the application process. - Deep River Earth Day is planned for April 22. Source to Sea clean up will begin at 9 a.m.at Deep River Landing register at deepriverct.us/deep-river-sustainable-ct-committee.
