Essex Elementary School Has Another Positive Covid Case 12/16

Three out of the past four days EES has notified parents that positive cases of Covid-19 are impacting the school, staff and students.

ESSEX, CT — The follow message went out to parents on Thursday morning from Region 4:

"Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff of Chester, Deep River, Essex, and Region 4 Schools,


Today we were notified of a positive case of COVID-19. We consulted with the Essex Health Department to determine appropriate steps.

This case impacted 4 students at Essex Elementary School. Students and staff members who were in close contact with this individual have been contacted by their school principal."
