  1. If you are a beer drinker you can get a "flight" of beers to try. If you are a wine drinker, you can get a "flight" of wine to taste. So it only makes sense that if you are an ice cream connoisseur that you can get a "flight" of different ice cream flavors to sample. Now you can, at Honeycones Craft Ice Cream in downtown Chester. The "flight" is six scoops of different flavors! What a cool idea! (Chester's Sunday Market via Facebook)
  2. The Warriors girl's lacrosse team had a great season with 14 victories making it to the Class S State Tournament for the first time in four years. According to the Zip06 article, "Head Coach Randy Netsch said that this year’s team was able to mesh together and use its experience to play as a cohesive unit. Netsch added that the Warriors benefited from having strength at every position this season." Congratulations girls, great job!(Zip06)
  3. Foxwoods Resort Casino has opened a 2,200-seat high-stakes bingo hall, according to The Hartford Business-Journal. The bingo hall unveiling is part of the casino's 30th anniversary celebration. The new 30,000-square-foot bingo hall offers higher stakes bingo games and expanded prize pools. The new bingo hall comes following several other expansions at the casino, including a new VIP Canopy Players' Lounge and new dining options, The Hartford Business-Journal reported. (Patch)
