Home Decor, Gift Shop Opening On Main Street In Essex
A family-owned shop named carrying sweet treats, "beautiful and fun accessories," and more is opening later this month.
ESSEX, CT — A home decor and gift shop is opening later this month in Essex.
Harley + Marley is opening at 1-3 N. Main St. on March 22. The opening will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Gina Weske said Harley + Marley is "a family-owned business and previously had a little shop on our little farm in East Haddam" called Boho Farm and have since moved to Old Saybrook.

"Our animals went to loving homes and sanctuaries and I have found a great spot to open our home decor and gift shop, Harley + Marley, in Essex," she said.
The shop is named after "two of our original goats that were very special to us," Weske said.

The shop will have "lots of spring accent decor, gifts to fill Easter baskets, sweet treats, soy candles made with love and care by me, beautiful and fun accessories for entertaining, bath and body, everyday decor, fun things for fur babies and things that just make the everyday more special," she added.
