1. Hope to see you in downtown Ivoryton tonight as the tree is lit up with 500,000 lights for the annual Ivoryton Illuminations event. From 5 to 8 p.m. there will be a bevy of excitement in the area including the tree lighting, caroling, an elf scavenger hunt, stuff a cruiser and more. Oh, and the big guy himself (Santa) will be visiting so make sure you are on the nice list. In addition, there will be special events going on at the Blue Hound Cookery & Tap Room, Ivoryton Fire House, Ivoryton Library, The Ivortyon Playhouse, the Ivoryton Inn and the Ivoryton Tavern. The United Church of Chester will hold its annual Christmas Fair today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come enjoy shopping for hand-crafted items and delicacies, decorations, greens, knitted goods and mouth-watering morsels for holiday giving.
