- If you are planning on being part of the Ivoryton Pumpkin Festival Parade there are marchers instructions on the Town of Essex webpage. Marchers will meet at the corner of Main Street and Walnut Street in Ivoryton at 3:45 p.m. Step off will be precisely at 4 p.m. Please do not park along Main Street. All those registered to participate are eligible to receive a special token of our appreciation - our “SWAG” bags will be available to pick up after the parade at the Park and Recreation Snack Station which is located in front of the SIX SUMMIT ART GALLERY. In addition, residents, please take note that Main Street, Ivoryton from Ivory St. to Walnut St. will be closed from 3:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Summit St. will be closed from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. - Ivoryton Village Green parking lot will be closed from sunrise to 7 p.m. - No parking on Main St. from Ivory St. to Walnut St. from 3:30 to 7 p.m. (essexct.gov)
