1. The Chester Land Trust will host its annual meeting at the Chester Meeting House on Tuesday, December 6. According to a Facebook post about the event, "the meeting will be open to the public and start at 6:30 p.m.. A short business meeting will be held, followed by a guest speaker. Light refreshments will be served. We are pleased to announce that Christian Allyn, a UConn-trained plant scientist and invasive plant management specialist will be giving a presentation called “Japanese Knotweed Mapping and Management in Chester.” This program is free of charge. On November 26 from 12 - 2 p.m, cranberry mimosas and mini quiches will be served and on December 3 from 5 - 7 p.m wine will be served.
