  1. It's that time of year again, time for the annual Valley Regional High School musical. This year's show is "Little Shop of Horrors"! It will be presented March 10 through 12 with shows at 7 p.m. Friday evening, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and a Sunday matinee at 1 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale, for $15 each, at VRHS and Celebrations in Deep River. Hope to see you at the show! (Valley Regional High School)
  2. On Saturday afternoon the Deep River Fire Department responded to a bush fire on Castle Heights. An area of approximately 100 feet by 200 feet was burning quickly making its way up the hill toward a camper trailer and a motor vehicle. According to the Deep River Fire Department Facebook post, "thanks to a quick response by the FD and getting water on the fire fast, the fire was stopped about 5 feet before it reached the trailer and the vehicle. Great work by all!" (Deep River Fire Department via Facebook)
  3. On the hunt for a new home nearby, but getting tired of seeing the same old listings again and again? Not to worry! To help simplify your search, we've compiled an up-to-date batch of new listings nearby. (Essex-Chester-Deep River Patch)
