Town Of Deep River: Update: Municipal Distribution Of COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits

Many of our residents called the Town Hall today asking about the arrival of COVID-19 test kits in our town.

As of 4:00 p.m. today, those kits are not physically in the State of Connecticut. They were expected to arrive in State at noon today but as of this writing have not yet left California. That being the case, we have little information as to when these kits may be in town and able to be distributed.

We are hopeful that the test kits will be delivered into the State overnight tonight. When the kits are here in town and ready to be distributed, we will post that information on our website.

Please remember that a limited supply of test kits is being delivered to our town. Not everyone will be able to get a kit. However, we expect that there will be a regional testing option available very soon. Please be patient; we will keep you apprised.
