- You're invited to join House Representative Christine Palm on Sunday, April 23, at the Chester Meeting House at 10 a.m. to hear her talk about "Bringing Environmentalism To The Capital." This event is part of Earth Month in Chester. (State Representative Christine Palm)
- The opening reception for the Valley Regional High School Student Art Show will be held at Essex Art Association, located at 10 North Main Street, on Thursday, April 20 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Come out and support the students! (Valley Regional High School)
- The Region 4 budget referendum will be held on Tuesday, May 2 from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Deep River Public Library Community Meeting Room.
