1. Looking for something fun to do this weekend in The Nutmeg State? Check out this list of events put together by Fox 61 Hartford. Some fun events include: Beckett Farm's Pick Your Own Tulips event, Middletown Fashion Week and the Annual Spring Apple Hunt in the Hay Maze at Lyman Orchards on Saturday. (FOX61 Hartford)
2. You are invited to the Chester Village to join in the fun of the Earth Day celebration on April 22. According to a press release from the town of Chester, "activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Main Street there will be chalk painting. Creating an Earth Day mural in real-time will be artist/environmental scientist Erin Cirino. The public is invited to join by drawing their tributes to Mother Nature. Chalk will be provided. Concurrently, various exhibits and activities will be ongoing. (Town of Chester)
3. Deep River Earth Day is planned for April 22. Source to Sea clean up will begin at 9 a.m.at Deep River Landing register at deepriverct.us/deep-river-sustainable-ct-committee.
