$100,000 Winning CT Lottery Ticket Sold In Fairfield
A Bridgeport resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
FAIRFIELD, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Fairfield, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, the person claimed a winning CASH5 ticket that was bought at News Express on Tunxis Hill Road.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The pari-mutuel game, which costs $1 per wager, has a top prize of $100,000. A "Kicker" can be added to a wager for $0.50.
Drawings are held nightly, and overall odds vary, based on how many numbers are matched, and whether a kicker was added.
