$16K in Jewelry Reported Stolen From Merwins Lane Home

A Merwins Lane resident reported his home had been burgled sometime between Friday and Sunday and $16,000 in jewelry was stolen, police said.

According to the police report, investigators determined that entry was gained through the rear slider door, which had been damaged by some sort of tool.

A lot of items and rooms were left untouched, police said. The jewelry was stolen from the master bedroom.This is under investigation.
