1st Annual Women In Business Awards Reception In Fairfield In March

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its inaugural, 1st Annual Women in Business Awards Reception on March 18th – an evening of Celebration & Recognition of outstanding Women in Business. The event sponsor is Bankwell, and it will be held at Fairfield University’s Quick Center for the Arts venue, from 5:30-8pm. The Chamber is also proud to announce that the guest speaker will be Cindi Bigelow, President & CEO, Bigelow Tea.

The Nomination Categories are as follows: Woman of Distinction; Community Impact; Excellence in Advocacy; Emerging Leader; Excellence in Business.

Of importance, the nominee, or the nominee’s business, must be a member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. To confirm whether they are a member or not, visit the Chamber’s website: FairfieldCTChamber.com/Business Directory and look for their listing.

Beverly Balaz, President of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, states: “The foundation of this event is to give both men and women, the prideful opportunity to nominate a woman who they know, or have worked with, who has had made a memorable positive impact in business. Job title could include: Receptionist, Department Head, CEO, Nurse, Doctor, Mentor, Real Estate Agent, Photographer, Attorney, etc. – just to name a few.”

The Chamber encourages people to nominate soon and before February 12th, as the Chamber staff
