2 Workers Struck, Injured By Bucket Truck In Fairfield: FD
The incident occurred Tuesday morning on Sasco Hill Terrace, according to authorities.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Two people doing tree work were struck and injured by a bucket truck Tuesday morning in Fairfield, according to fire officials.
The two suffered "apparent trauma injuries to the face and legs," said Provisional Assistant Fire Chief Dennis Eannotti in a statement, and were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Eannotti said the incident occurred at about 9:40 a.m. on Sasco Hill Terrace.

Details about the incident were not immediately available, but an investigation is underway by members of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, in addition to the Fairfield police and fire departments.
