2-Year-Old In Critical Condition After Near-Drowning In Fairfield
As of Sunday, the boy remained alive, according to Fairfield police, who are investigating the incident.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A 2-year-old was in critical condition after a near-drowning in Fairfield, according to his family and local police.
According to Nicole Jones, her son, Anthony, nearly drowned in a pool Wednesday.
“He was resuscitated and is currently in the hospital on life support,” Jones wrote on a GoFundMe webpage. “We were just told he is critical and he will not survive this tragic incident.”

“This is an incredibly difficult time for our family,” Jones wrote. “… Anthony is loved by his parents, siblings and friends. We have stayed by his side and this is hitting us all very hard.”
