A Bridgeport resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
FAIRFIELD, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $30,000 richer this week after claiming a winning scratch-off lottery ticket purchased in Fairfield, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Tuesday, the person claimed a winning $30,000 Ca$hword ticket that was bought at News Express on Tunxis Hill Road.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $3 per ticket, began in June 2024, and as of Wednesday, 16 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed.
More than 11.4 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.74.
