Actor Buys Historic Mansion In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — A well-known actor has purchased a historic mansion in Southport, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reported that records show Jensen Ackles, his wife Danneel Ackles and their Stone Park Trust Agreement bought the mansion at 1143 Sasco Hill Road for $9.375 million in July. The property previously was on the market for $14 million, according to the Post.

Ackles is best known for his role as Dean Winchester on the long-running ghost-hunting show “Supernatural.” He also appeared in nearly 450 episodes of the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” from 1997 to 2000, according to IMDb.com.

The 100-year-old mansion, which is situated on 3 acres of land, features more than 19,000-square feet of livable space and has more than 30 rooms across four stories, according to the Post.
