Arrests And Incidents In Fairfield: April 15-24 Police Log
A man and a woman were charged with stealing from Stop & Shop and fleeing officers, and two men were accused of having drug paraphernalia.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Here are the arrest and incident logs for April 15 to 24, 2022, as provided by the Fairfield Police Department.
All charges are allegations, not convictions.
Friday, April 15
8:20 p.m., 2260 King Hwy: A 33-year-old Stratford man was charged with interfering with an officer/resisting, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance after he was found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia and gave police a false name.

8:20 p.m., 2260 King Hwy: A 26-year-old Shelton man was charged with two counts of interfering with an officer/resisting, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and criminal impersonation after he was found to be in possession of Xanax pills and drug paraphernalia, engaged police in a foot pursuit and gave them a false identity.
10:11 p.m., 2475 Black Rock Tpke: A 28-year-old North Haven woman was charged with violation of a protective order after a caller reported his ex-girlfriend, against whom he has a protective order, was harassing him. The woman was held on a $2,500 bond.

Monday, April 18
4:23 p.m., 600 block of Fairfield Beach Road: A 21-year-old North Haven man with an active arrest warrant from the New Britain Police Department was charged with second-degree criminal mischief. The man was driving a black suburban with a woman hanging onto the side of it when he was pulled over in Fairfield.
Wednesday, April 20
5:23 p.m., 760 Villa Ave: A 39-year-old New Haven man was charged with third-degree larceny, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, interfering with/resisting an officer, evading responsibility, driving with a suspended license, misuse of license plates and stop sign. The man was also arrested on two failure to appear warrants: A first-degree warrant from Berlin police with a $100,000 bond and a second-degree warrant from Norwalk police with a $500 bond.
Additionally, a 32-year-old Stratford woman was charged with sixth-degree larceny, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, and interfering with/resisting an officer. Her bond was set at $500. She was also arrested on a warrant from Stratford police for violating a protective order, and that charge came with a $10,000 bond.
The woman took beer from Stop & Shop, then got into the passenger seat of a Hyundai Sonata. The Sonata fled quickly onto Villa Avenue, then crashed.
The woman and the man, who was driving the car, ran away on foot, and a police officer apprehended them. Both were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The car had a false license plate and its VIN showed it was stolen out of Bridgeport.
