FAIRFIELD, CT — A Redding man was arrested for the alleged groping of a 14-year-old teen at Jennings Beach in Fairfield during the fireworks display, according to The News Times.
Harry E. Metz, 54, of Redding turned himself in at police headquarters on Monday and was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, the report stated. This is not Metz's first brush with the law. Court records show he was arrested and found guilty in 2012 for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Police said that Metz touched a girl in an inappropriate manner and then left the parking lot, however a second teen took a photo with a cell phone, according to the report.
