Career Expo For Fairfield Students Taking Place Thursday
The expo, designed to introduce students to trades and public safety careers, will take place at the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club.
FAIRFIELD, CT — In collaboration with Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield Warde High Schools, Wakeman Boys & Girls Club is hosting a career fair expo for interested high school students on Thursday night.
The event, titled Trades & Public Safety Career Fair Expo, will take place on Thursday from 7-8 p.m. at the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club Southport Clubhouse (385 Center St., Southport).
Several local businesses will be in attendance, and the event is designed to introduce students to careers in HVAC, plumbing, construction, public safety, the military, and more.

This will be the first annual event of its kind, officials with Wakeman Boys & Girls Club said.
