A Fairfield man reportedly became so enraged Tuesday night because his McDonald's order wasn't made properly that he was detained by police.
An employee at the fast food chain's Black Rock Turnpike location called 911 to report an "out of control" subject at the drive-thru window.

According to the report, the man placed an order at the drive-thru window, drove away, and then returned a short time later. He reportedly got out of his car, walked up to the restaurant and started to bang on the front door, which was locked.
An employee told him he could not come into the restaurant, so the suspect reportedly walked to the drive-thru window and began to scream and swear at the pregnant manager, police said.

Police said he also threw the bag of food through the drive-thru window, striking the manager in the chest. He continued to yell until the manager told her staff to call police.
The man fled in a white BMW before officers arrived, but the employees had obtained the car's plate information.
Officers located the suspect -- identified as Gefforey Weglarz, 55, of Fairfied Woods Road -- at his home. He was reportedly carrying a loaded pistol in his waistband and became belligerent while officers detained him, according to the report.
The pistol -- which he had a valid permit for -- was seized, as were other weapons found in the home. The pistol permit was also seized and will be sent to the Connectict Firearms Review Board, according to the report.
Weglarz was transported to police headquarters, charged, and then released on a promise to appear in court on April 9.
