Corky, a mix between a Jack Russell terrier and a corgi, is looking for a home. He was presented at the Wednesday Board of Selectmen meeting by former Selectman Sherri Steeneck.
Corky is about five years old and was found on Villa Avenue with another Jack Russell/corgi mix. He has a Microchip, but it was not registered. Animal Control officials were able to track the chip to a pet shop with out-of-service phone and fax numbers.
Both Corky and the other dog are up for adoption and can be visited at Fairfield Animal Control (211 One Road Highway, 203-254-4857).
