Why are you seeking this office?
I grew up in Fairfield, but it wasn’t until I returned six years ago with my wife - and now with our two young sons - that I really came to appreciate how special this town is and how much it has given me. Out of gratitude and a belief in civic engagement, I want to give back to our community.
Also, Fairfield deserves a government that reflects balance and accountability. With the RTM currently dominated by one party, we risk complacency and a lack of transparency. Our town is strongest when both parties are represented, policies are debated, and decisions must be justified to the people they affect. I am running to restore balance and help ensure Fairfield remains a place where families like mine can thrive.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Housing affordability. Whether it is young families hoping to move here, or longtime residents looking to downsize and stay, the cost of housing is the most pressing issue. One of the biggest drivers, of course, is property taxes. By demanding fiscal responsibility, cutting waste, and directing tax dollars to high-impact priorities, we can ease that burden. Fairfield families deserve transparency and confidence that their tax dollars are being used wisely.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I’ll let other candidates speak for themselves, but I will bring both private‑sector experience and a solutions‑oriented mindset to the RTM. I am not interested in ideological or cultural debates that don’t improve daily life in Fairfield. My focus is on thoughtful, reasonable problem‑solving, fiscal accountability, and listening to District 8 residents so I can be their voice in town government.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I am focused on the issues that directly impact Fairfield’s quality of life: keeping our neighborhoods safe, strengthening our schools, attracting businesses, smart investment in infrastructure and community spaces, and protecting local control over zoning and development. These are the building blocks of a strong, vibrant community.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
My background spans both large institutions and entrepreneurship. I began my career as an investment banker at Bank of America and Goldman Sachs, and later started a private equity real estate firm. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to navigate complex organizations, work in demanding environments, and analyze budgets with discipline. I also understand the challenges of building something from the ground up, the importance of consensus and clear communication, and the need for transparency and accountability.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Lead with optimism and faith in people.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I believe in local control, fiscal responsibility, and a limited government that delivers essential services effectively and efficiently. My focus is on the basics that matter most: safe neighborhoods, strong schools, clean streets and community spaces, reliable infrastructure, and thoughtful growth. Above all, I will insist on transparency and accountability to Fairfield residents. If we get these fundamentals right, our community will thrive.
