Celebrate Cinco de Mayo all weekend at Bodega Taco Bar in Fairfield.
The Post Road eatery's tent party will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday. The festivities start with a taco eating contest at 2 p.m., followed by a pig roast at 3 p.m., and live music at night.
Sunday's fun starts at noon when the tent party reopens. At 1 p.m. there's a kids' "guac off," a mariachi band will play at 2:30 p.m., and then there's another pig roast at 3 p.m.
In the spirit of the holiday, Bodega's bartender Joe whipped up a classic margarita -- his favorite to make.
