Expect Delays Due To Accident In Fairfield, Police Say

FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are advising drivers to avoid the area of Oldfield Road and Ruane Street and Oldfield Road and South Pine Creek Road due to a traffic accident.

Police posted about the accident around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Facebook.

"Officers are on scene managing the situation, but expect delays and use alternate routes if possible," police wrote. "Thank you for your cooperation as we work to clear the area safely."
