Fairfield American Little League’s 13U Team Wins State Championship
The 50/70 Intermediate (13U) team defeated Coginchaug over the weekend.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Saturday evening, the Fairfield American Little League’s Intermediate (13U) team won the state 50-70 Championship, defeating Coginchaug 11-5.
FALL was undefeated in the state tourney, outscoring its opponents 41-7. The team leaves Friday morning for the Little League Intermediate 50/70 Regional Tournament in Dover, Delaware. Their first game is Saturday morning at 10am in Dover.

If they win the Regional Tournament, the next stop would be Livermore, California for the Little League Intermediate National Championships the following week.
This is the second year in a row the Fairfield American boys have won the state title.
