A 12-year-old Fairfield boy suffered minor injuries Thursday after he was struck by a vehicle near Miller Nissan on Kings Highway East.
The boy had been riding a scooter on the sidewalk on Castle Avenue when he reportedly drove off the sidewalk and into oncoming traffic, police said. He was struck by a Jeep.
The 12-year-old was sent to Bridgeport Hospital after complaining of left leg pain. No charges were filed in connection to the accident.
