Fairfield First Selectman Launches Constituents' Coffee Events

The first one is scheduled for Saturday morning at the clubhouse at the H. Smith Richardson Golf Course in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CT — First Selectman Bill Gerber is launching constituents' coffee events to hear from residents, beginning with one from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the clubhouse at the H. Smith Richardson Golf Course, 2425 Morehouse Highway, in Fairfield.

"I want to hear from all of you, so I'm beginning a series of constituents' coffees," Gerber wrote in a message to residents. "These Saturday morning get-togethers will be an informal opportunity to share concerns unique to your neighborhoods — or whatever else you have on your minds. The first coffee kicks off on November 9th with neighbors from Representative Town Meeting (RTM) District 2 (which means you vote at Burr Elementary), but everyone is welcome!"

Gerber said that while he has met many residents at "meetings, flag raisings, proclamations, Town-sponsored celebrations such as Juneteenth and the Memorial Day Parade," he wants to give people more opportunities to express their views.
