Fairfield Food Truck Festival Returns To Jennings Beach

The popular event, which benefits the Fairfield Public Library, is scheduled for later this month.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Friends of Fairfield Public Library are pleased to announce the return of the Fairfield Food Truck Festival for its seventh year of family fun at Jennings Beach in Fairfield, Connecticut. The Festival will take place on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 11:00am-6:00pm, with more than a dozen of the area’s most popular food trucks participating.

Admission is $5 per person (not including cost of food truck purchases); kids age 12 and under get in free. There will be plenty of free parking in the Jennings Beach lot.

“For many years, the Festival has been a great way to cap off summer,” said Friends’ president Donna Cahill. “I know everyone is looking forward to being outside, seeing friends and eating
great food.”

Many past Festival food truck favorites are returning in 2024, including Lobster Craft, Fork in the Road, Milkcraft and Proof Pizza. The Fairfield Food Truck festival has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Fairfield Public Library since debuting in 2017. All proceeds from the Festival are used to fund community-facing programs and initiatives at the Library, such as a mobile computer lab, a new public-address system for Main Library, and improvements to the Children’s Library at Fairfield Woods Branch.
