Fairfield House Where Mother, Daughter Died in Fire Sold at Auction

The Crane Street home where Maureen Gerrity, 47, and her daughter, Katherine Rose O’Neill, 19, died in an early morning fire last year has been sold in an auction, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the house, which is uninhabitable, was sold for $200,000 to a local builder and is expected to be torn down.
The Fairfield Auction Gallery handled the auction for the estate of Maureen Gerritty.
