FAIRFIELD, CT — Julie DeMarco, director of Fairfield's Human and Social Services Department, issued the following statement thanking the Fairfield community for its collective generosity this Holiday Season:

To our Fairfield Community,

Fairfield Human and Social Services, and the families we have the privilege of serving, thank you for your extraordinary generosity this holiday season. Your thoughtful donations to the Social Services Holiday Giving Program have made a profound impact on those who are facing challenging times.

Because of your kindness, we were able to bring much-needed comfort and joy to families in need. The gift cards allowed them the freedom to purchase what they truly required and helped them celebrate the season with dignity, warmth, and love. Your support has been a shining beacon of hope, and it will be remembered and cherished throughout the year.

We are truly blessed by the compassion, love, and care that our community continues to show to those in need. Working together with all of you is a gift we deeply treasure, and we are incredibly grateful to have you as partners in making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
