News release from Friends of Fairfield Public Library:

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Friends of Fairfield Public Library are pleased to announce their first-ever comedy fundraiser at the Main branch of Fairfield Public Library on Saturday, February 8, from 7:00-9:00pm (doors open at 6:30). Laughs at the Library will feature six of Connecticut’s funniest stand-up comics, including headliner Jane Condon, who has appeared on the Today show, the View and Last Comic Standing, and is the winner of the National Ladies of Laughter contest. Additional comics include Giancarlo Biondino, winner of Funniest Comic in Connecticut, and Laurie Yellow Sweater, who has appeared at Mohegan Sun.

“We are thrilled that the Friends have organized this first-of-its-kind comedy event for our Library,” said Scott Jarzombek, Fairfield Town Librarian. “It promises to be a perfect way to relax, recharge, and enjoy some laughs with family and friends, and to support the Library at the same time.”
